Wife of Thomas Travis. Married at Livingston County (Crittenden County), Kentucky on August 15, 1805. Following the death of her father Matthew Sellers, her mother Ann Corbett Sellers and children moved to the new territory of Mississippi after settlement of her father's estate and siblings selling of their inherited lands.
The 1816 Tax List shows Salome and Thomas Travis living in Warren County, Mississippi. Burial monument of her mother Ann Corbett Sellers at the Oakland Cemetery included Salome's name on one of the sides of the monument.
