Uncle Johnny was a great guy. I couldn't get over how much he looked like my dad. The last time I saw him I went on directions from memory from when I was young and went there with my parents. Fortunately none of the landmarks had changed. When I first passed his house he was out in front doing something and I told my girlfriend "That's him!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I couldn't believe I actually found him. We had a real nice visit with him and his wife Aunt Bessie. I'm very thankful to have had that time with him. I was in Grand Rapids for the funeral of another Uncle.
