Cressie Althera Loveridge Greenland, 87, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1988 at the home of her son in Orem.
She was born Nov. 26, 1900 in Highland, Utah to William and Martha Cresswell Scott Loveridge. She married William John Greenland, Jan. 5, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Jan. 28, 1962.
She had worked at the Utah State Training School, and as a reporter for the Daily Herald for Highland.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Sunday School teacher, had served in the Releif Society and Primary, and was a member of the ward Choir for several years.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Vernon Leon Greenland, Orem, Dan L. Greenland, Kearns, Mrs. Boyd(Martha) Grossnickle of Georgetown, Idaho; one step-daughter Mrs. Ed (Lois) Kearley, Lindon; 29 Grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Hubert, and a step-son, William John Jr.
Funeral will be Wenesday, 11 a.m. in the Lehi 1st-6th Ward Chapel, 120 W. 200 S., Lehi. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and at the church Wenesday one hour prior to service.
Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery.
