Death Certificate of Floyd G. "Pete" Brown, son of Jacob and Lucy Johannah "Hannah" [Kalb] Brown; Husband of Dorothy Elisabeth [Kindt] Brown. He died at his home at 1:30pm on 8 Dec 1983 from exsanguination (substantial loss of blood) due to transection of the left radial artery, which was a self inflicted injury. Basically, he committed suicide by slitting his left wrist. He was laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery on 10 Dec 1983. At the time of his death he was an 80 year old co-owner of a feed elevator supply company, probably the same company owned by his brother, Feltus S. Brown, who passed away from thyroid cancer about 2-1/2 years earlier.
