PLEASANT LAKE — LYLE D NORAGON, 75, of Pleasant Lake, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at his home.

He was retired from Magnavox, where he had worked 24 years as an engineer. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 202 in Butler.

He was born in DeKalb County on Oct. 16, 1932, to Warren and Doris (Meyer) Noragon. He married Phyllis Dietrich on Oct. 30, 1985. She survives.

He is survived by two sons; a daughter and son-in-law of Waterloo; a stepson of Angola; two sisters, Delores Carpenter of Lady Lake, Fla.; and Ruth Wilson of Auburn; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Noragon; a stepson, Mark Bender; a son, Eddie D. Noragon; and a daughter, Nancy K. Noragon.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, with the Rev. Lynn Eicher officiating. Butler American Legion Post No. 202 will conduct military services. There is no calling. Johnson Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements.
