Funeral Home, Manitowoc, of 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday
afternoon at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The
Rev. Paul Demuth, a grand nephew, and the Rev. John Hephner will
officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pfeffer, nee Lucy E. Bouril, was born Oct. 8, 1897 in Tisch Mills,
Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Anton and Mary Jansky Bouril.
She was married to Leonard T. Pfeffer Sr., Oct. 23, 1920, at St. Peter
Catholic Church, Chicago. He preceded her in death May 27, 1952.
Mrs. Pfeffer was a licensed funeral director of the State of Wisconsin
and member of the Fox Valley, Wisconsin and National Funeral Directors
Associations. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and
honorary member of St. Ann Society at St. Boniface Church.
Survivors include three sons, Clyde W. Pfeffer, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc,
Leonard C. Pfeffer and Roy T. Pfeffer, of Manitowoc; two brothers,
Joseph Bouril, of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, and Charles G. Bouril, of Manitowoc.
A grandson, a brother and five sisters preceded her in death. Friends
may call between 4 and 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where a
wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
