Mrs. Cordine Miller passed away at 1:10 p. m. Thursday at the home of her oldest son, Fred M. Miller after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Miller was born in Denmark in the year of 1847 coming to Cheyenne early in life. She was married to Frank A. Miller soon after her arrival in Cheyenne. Mr. Miller died about 18 months ago.
Mrs. Miller has always taken considerable delight in writing poetry for her own amusement, and of later years she will be remembered as having written several songs.
Deceased leaves two sons, Fred M. and Albert J. Miller, mail clerks running out of Cheyenne, and one daughter Mrs. Oscar Stanfield, residing here, and one sister living at Jensen, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Fred Miller, 2115 Evans street at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Van Winkle officiating.
