Jack Edward Pease Sr., age 84, of Lake Geneva, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
He was born June 7, 1930, in Elgin to Haverly and Marianne (Markunas) Van Epps. On April 1, 1949, he married Anna Morici in Chicago.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Jack enjoyed careers as an auto dealer and later a real estate developer. During his leisure time, he enjoyed boating. He also had a pilot's license and enjoyed flying.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Anna; two children, Diane Boand of Barrington and Jack Jr. (Patty) Pease of Johnsburg; seven grandchildren, Steven (Sandy) Boand, Brandon Boand, Joshua Boand, Jonathan (Amy) Pease, Nichole (Gary) Ruch, Kelly Pease, and Tory (Amy) Pease; and nine great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Braden, Camden, Mason, Sophia, Addison, Jack, Tyler, and Hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jeffrey Pease on August 26, 2011; and a brother, George Pease.
There will be no visitation. Services were private for his immediate family.
