Benny DeSessa, 81, of the LeisureTowne section of Southampton, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2006 at Cooper Medical Center, Camden, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Benny resided in Hasbrouck Heights before moving to Southampton 18 years ago. He was a Veteran of both WWII and the Korean War, having proudly served his country with the US Navy. Benny retired as a self-employed Draftsman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Husband of the late Dorothy DeSessa, he is survived by three sons, Christopher, Bernard and Steven DeSessa; ten grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mary, Susan, Robert, Sam, Tony, Michael, Kristine, Alison DeSessa and Theresa Sabol; ten great-grandchildren, Skyler Sabol, Christopher, Joseph, Antonio, Seleena, Katerina, Owen, Sarah, Brea, and Daniel DeSessa.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 9:30 AM at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ 08055. There will be no calling hours.
Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, N. Hanover Twp., NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 9:30 AM at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ 08055. There will be no calling hours.
