Andrew H. Pribek, 68, a former Manitowoc Police lieutenant, of 1622 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at Holy Family Hospital Extended Care Facility, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James J. Stamborski will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pribek was born April 9, 1907, at Spruce, Wis., son of the late Matt and Mary Pavilack Pribek. He moved to Manitowoc as a young man in 1923. He married Frances M. Jagodinsky June 26, 1924, at St. Mary. Andrew worked at Aluminum Co. of Manitowoc for 15 years prior to joining the Manitowoc Police Dept., where he served 30 years, retiring in 1967 with the rank of lieutenant. He was a 25-year member of Fraternal Order of Eagle Aerie 706 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Dr. Robert Pribek, of LaCrosse, a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Lorraine) Steinmetz, of Green Bay; four brothers, Frank, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, James, Edward and Ernest, of Manitowoc and 11 grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o'clock this Friday evening where a memorial service will be at 7:30 o'clock.
