Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkside Funeral Home and 2 p.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Mitch Weber will officiate
and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Fidler was born March 7, 1889, at Rosencrans, Wis., son of the late Joseph
and Anna Yench Fidler. He married Anna Cherney May 10, 1911, at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Kellnersville. He had been employed with Manitowoc Engineering
Company, retiring Aug. 2, 1957. He was a member of International Association of
Machinists Lodge 516, Holy Innocents Catholic Church and Holy Name Society of
the church.
Survivors include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Clara Fidler and two
daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Dan Dempski and Marian and Harold Muchowski
of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Violet and Charles Hoppe of Milwaukee,
13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Five brothers,
three sisters and a grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 o'clock to 9 (unreadable sentence)
where a prayer service will be at 8 o'clock.
