Rose Mary Lafourcade, age 93, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Lafourcade was a native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Metairie, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 15 years.
Beloved wife of the late Louis P. Lafourcade, Jr. Mother of Patricia L. Clifford (Craig), Pamela L. Rouse (Steven) and Louis P. Lafourcade, III (Suzanne ""Cookie""). Grandmother of Lauren R. Jones (Craig), Samantha L. Clifford and Bradley Steven Rouse (Heather).
Great grandmother of Christian William Jones and Cameron William Jones. Daughter of the late Charles F. Maser, Jr. and Irene Guillie Maser.
Mrs. Lafoucade was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Folsom, LA. She was very devoted to her church. Mrs. Lafourcade loved to garden and cook. She was a very giving person and loved taking care of her family and friends. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Mrs. Lafourcade's family would like to thank the staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home and Notre Dame Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 beginning at 11:00 AM with A Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's Chapel.
