Delores A. Mueller, 86, of Kiel passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc as a result of a heart attack.
Delores was born on October 28, 1928, daughter of the late Arno and Ella (Jung) Roethel. She married Kurt Mueller on October 15, 1949, he preceded her in death on August 30, 1998.
She was a housewife all her life and loved feeding anyone who stopped by to visit. Delores could pull a meal together out of nowhere. She was a great friend to many people and enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends by telephone. She would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. Delores was a wonderful, caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Delores is survived by her two daughters: Sharon Hudson of Sheboygan and Linda (Jeff) Quast of Kiel and their children: Kelly (Craig) Jorgenson of Chilton and Tyler Quast of Cedarburg; daughter-in-law: Kay (fiance Dave Endries) Mueller of St. Nazianz and her sons: Ryan Mueller of St. Nazianz, Matthew (Ashley) Mueller of Port Washington and Eric Mueller of St. Nazianz. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Kurt L. Mueller, her son: Larry E. Mueller and her son-in-law: Larry Hudson.
Funeral Services for Delores will be held at 4:00pm on on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners ( 19214 CTH XX, Kiel). Officiating at the service will be Rev. Ted Olsen, burial will take place in the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 2:00pm until the time of service at church.
The family would like to thank the Kiel Ambulance, the Valders Ambulance and Dr. Swerchowsky and the staff of HFMMC Critical Care Unit for the care and compassion shown to Delores and her family.
