Wilma B. Stuck, 96, of LaCrosse passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Brookdale Place in Valparaiso.
She was born October 4, 1918 in Cissna Park, IL to John & Tillie (Hitz) Heinold.
Wilma had farmed in LaPorte County all of her career with her husband. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in LaCrosse and their Ladies Aid, LaPorte County Farm Bureau, had been active in Tuesday Night Ladies Bowling in Valparaiso until her 90th year and was a beloved volunteer for many years at the LaCrosse Public Library.
On February 23, 1939 in San Pierre she married Marshall Stuck who preceded her in death in 2000.
Survivors include their children, Patricia (Gerald "Fritz") Spiess of LaCrosse, Robert (Debra) Stuck of Lake Wylie, SC, sisters, Mildred Schoon & Betty Krueger Artist both of LaCrosse, sister-in-law, Marilyn Heinold of LaCrosse, brother-in-law, Eugene Stuck of St. Charles, IL, grandchildren: Laura Spiess of Odenton, MD, Lisa (Scott) Barleg of Valparaiso, Lynn Witner (fiancé-Troy Alexander) of Springfield, IL, Ben (Lisa) Stuck of Ft. Mill, SC, Amanda (Chris) Wynkoop of Eatontown, NJ and ten great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Raymond Stuck, brothers: Richard, Lester & Roy Heinold and sisters: Edith White & Aldene Freiden.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 Indiana Ave., Kouts, with funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm, Rev. Joel S. Zipay officiating and burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of Porter County or LaCrosse Public Library.
