Daughter of Christopher Henry Fleming Wood and Virginia Lavette Wilie Wood. Wife of Nathan Bennett Hunt, mother of Elsie May Hunt. Vara died 6 weeks after Elsie was born.

Daughter, Elsie, grew up to become a very good school teacher. She met and married preacher, William Jay Richards. Elsie and Jay moved from Texas to California. Elsie died in California during surgery.
