Mrs. Lemasters, a 1936 IU graduate, taught school for 30 years at Waldron High School, Greensburg, and as a substitute in Shelbyville Central Schools. She was a member of the Waldron United Methodist Church, Indiana Retired Teachers Association, Shelby County Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma and Waldron Order of Eastern Star.
A Daughter of Ora and Dora (Roberts) Cuskaden, she was born in Shelby County 26 June 1916. She was married 4 Aug 1940, to Maurice Lemasters, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, Greg Lemasters, Waldron, and Glenn Lemasters, Columbus; two grand-daughters, and a sister, Mrs. Merle (Clarice) Blue, Mishawaka.
Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home, St. Paul, with the Rev. David Cummings officiating. Burial was in VanPelt Cemetery.
Friends called from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions were made to the Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter.
