MERIDEN - Iris Delia Dones, 42, girlfriend of Manuel Torres, died on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Yabucoa, P.R. on Sept. 8. 1969, she was the daughter of Carmen F. Sanchez and Sebastian Dones and currently resided in Meriden.

She is survived by three sons, Anthony Velez, Andrew Velez and Adrian Dones; two step-children, Manuel Rubio Torres and Nuelissa Torres; one granddaughter, Zoe; two sisters, Carmen Tollin; brother-in-law, Daniel Tollin; sister, Migdalia Dones; one brother, Gerardo Dones; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many loving friends.

The funeral will be held on Friday, July 13, at 12 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. For online condolences please visit www.jferryfh.com
