Michael K. “Mike” Schulze, 56, of Parsons, was found dead at his home on Thursday, January 8, 2014.

He was born June 30, 1958, in Joplin, to Bernard L. and Donna L. (Snyder) Schulze. He grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons schools.

Throughout his adult life he had worked as a carpenter and welder and had been employed at Taylor Products and Power Flame. He was skilled at wood carving and doing metal sculptures. He loved working with model cars and remote control cars.

Survivors include his two daughters – Jamie Blasor and her husband Randy, of Cherryvale; Amber Davis and her husband Mike, of Amarillo, Texas; Step-daughter - Stephanie Wagahoff, of Rogers, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; his mother – Donna Schulze, of Parsons; two brothers – Randy Schulze, of Parsons; Steve Schulze, of Parsons; three sisters – Jeannie Waun, of Altamont; Debbie Farran, of Galesburg; and Anjanette Noe, of Joplin.

His father, Bernie Schulze, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends following the service.
