Miss Bessie Kane, 360 Gorham Street, died this morning, May 1, 1954, in Thompson Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in the town of Hopewell, the daughter of the late James and Anna Herbert Kane, and had been a lifelong resident of Canandaigua and vicinity. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She is survived by one sister, Miss Anna Kane, of Canandaigua, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 from the Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in Calvary.
