Mr. Heinrich Adam Hirschfeld, a farmer living about 3 miles northwest of here, died on Thursday, November 12, after a long illness with larynx and pulmonary tuberculosis. He was 46 years, 11 months and 23 days old. The deceased was born in this county in 1838 and married Sarah Elisabetha, born Fark, in 1859. This marriage produced 13 children, of whom 12 are living. He is survived by his widow and 12 (mostly grown) children. The deceased had suffered for 6 years with chest pains which developed into tuberculosis about six months ago. The burial took place on Sunday afternoon at the Lock 2 Cemetery with a very large attendance. Pastor Buerkle officiated.
