He is able to read and write. In 1920 US Census, he moved to Civil District 4 of Monroe County on Ballplay Road with his wife and own family, working as a farm laborer on his own farm on his own account while renting. In 1930 US Census, he and his family has not moved, still renting and owns no radio set. Not much had changed. In 1940 US Census, still no change. Have other sources of income. Graduated from the 7th grade.
