She was born February 11, 1936 a native of Gaston County the daughter of the late Jack and Myrtle Faulkner.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Cynthia Reagan, Tony L. Abee, Nancy Abee, Patricia Abee Propst, Bobby D. Abee, Jr. and Steven Hamrick; brother, Ronnie Faulkner, Sr.; sister, Gilda Rice and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby “Dean” Abee, Sr.; second husband, Otis Hamrick and her son, Scott Abee.
