Mrs. Gifford was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Omer and Eva (Menard) Lebeau, and was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and gardening.
Survivors include 3 daughters, a sister, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Lillian Sullivan, Raymond, Normand and Homer Lebeau and grandmother of the late William J.A. Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend, visiting hours on Monday April 9, 2007 4-7 PM. Funeral services on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 11 AM at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford. Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
