Sterling Clack was the s/o William Clack & Elizabeth Twiitty and h/o Mary Polly Woods. Sterling was a member of the Virginia House of Burgess from 1784 to 1794. He was a private in the Virginia M 2 during the Revolutionary War and discharged as a Sgt. Sterling's children are Nancy 1782-1848, Eldridge 1784-1820, William 1787-1856, James Caller 1789, John Twitty 1791, Mary 1793, Elizabeth 1795, Martha Patsy 1800, Sterling 1802-1867, &Elijah Clack 1808-1871
