Leon Noble Henson, 77, of McRae, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at his home. He was born, one of 10 kids, April 14, 1937 in Dover a son of the late William Alfred and Clara Mae (Raines) Henson. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Vertac Chemical Company in Jacksonville after 14 years of service. He was married to the late Betty Ruth Toddy and had 4 daughters who survive; Betty Louise Webb of Rose Bud, Brenda Brown of Bradford, Tammy Smith of Velvet Ridge and Amy Wilson of Garner; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and several siblings.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with funeral services in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob - Judsonia.
