Bobbie Louise Adams, 88, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, at her home in Evant.

Funeral services were held Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment Thursday in Payne Gap Cemetery in Mills County.

Bobbie was born December 18, 1926, to Chock and Letris Duncan. She grew up in Moline and graduated from Star High School. She went on to Western Union School and in November 1947 married Otis Adams, whom she had known all her life. Otis and Bobbie were married 66 years before his death in April 2014.

Together, they had three children, Pam and husband, Harold Jones, of Paradise, Terry and wife, Becky Adams, of Azle and Paula Adams of Saginaw. They raised their family in Fort Worth and lived there until the last couple of years of their lives when they moved back to their farm just outside Evant. Bobbie was a homemaker but also was a care provider for numerous children through the years.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother.

She is survived by her three children; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth West of Fort Worth, Raunda Clary and husband, Lester, of Moline and Nan Baird and husband, Larry, of Lampasas; brother-in-law, Frank Adams and wife, Johnnie, of Moline; sister-in-law, Mildred Butts of Brownwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
