Survived by his brother Bradley (Nila) and nephews Robert & Paul Little. He graduated from Ohio University (BA) and WSU (Masters in Education). He was a Science teacher for 39 years at Shaw Elementary in Beavercreek. He was a Beavercreek Township trustee for 27 years. A Kentucky Colonel, he was recognized and received numerous awards from the Community including the prestigious EG Shaw Award from the Beavercreek Chamber.
He served on several committees and boards throughout the area, including but not limited to: TCN Board of Directors, MVMAA, Beavercreek Wetlands, Beavercreek Historical Society, Greene County Regional Planning, EAB Board WPAFB, Knights of Pythias, Tux & Tan (Comus). Mr. Little was also a finalist for the Columbia Space Shuttle. He never forgot the students whose lives he touched in numerous ways throughout the years.
He will be missed by his many friends and establishments that he frequented regularly, especially TGIF Friday's, The Wharf, and Wellington Grille. Special Friends, Larry Brown family, Earl Deaton, Matt Hawley Family, Ron Houck, Holihan Family & Candy Prystaloski. In lieu of flowers, he requested all donations be made to Shaw Elementary PTO, 3560 Kemp Road, Beavercreek Ohio 45431.
Visiting hours will be held at Tobias Funeral Home 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek Ohio, Friday January 16, 2015 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10 am with interment at Beaver Cemetery.
