Evelyn Andrews Brown, age 82, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at the Joy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cleveland.
Visitation will be held Thursday 01/15/2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday 01/16/2015 at Cleveland Funeral Home. Burial will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Bob Hill will officiate the service.
Evelyn was born on October 15, 1932 to Earl Benion and Katurah Stanford Andrews in Drew, MS. She married James R. Brown. Evelyn was a homemaker who spent her life raising her children. She was a member of the Cleveland Church of Christ. Evelyn loved her canine friend Shieba and enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, camping and decorating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers Robert and Doug Andrews.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Jeff) White of Cleveland, MS; son, Bobby Brown of Boyle, MS; Brother, Tommy (JoAnn) Andrews of Skene, MS; Grandchildren; Ket (Sid) McAtee of Cleveland, MS; and Jimbo McLain of Boyle, MS; Two great grandchildren Sydney and Landyn McAtee of Cleveland, MS.
Pallbearers are nephews; Randy Andrews, Jeff Andrews, Ben Andrews, Todd Andrews, Lamar Andrews and Travis Andrews. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Wilson and Steve Peeples.
