Mrs. H.F. Kennington, 62, died at her residence, 201 Villa Esta Drive, at 4:10 p.m. yesterday after an illness of a year.

Mrs. Kennington, the former Miss Pauline Mercer, was born in Twiggs County Sept. 28, 1877, the daughter of Pink Mercer and Mrs. Eliza Jones Mercer and made her home in Macon for 10 years, coming from Twiggs County. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Hulsey Andrews, Tucker, Ga., Mrs. Pauline O'Kelly, Mrs. Chester Burge and Mrs. Earlie Darmon of Macon, Mrs. F.B. West, Savannah; four sons, H.G. Kennington, John Kennington and Garner Kennington of Macon, L.M. Kennington, Maxwell Field, Ala.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Taylor, Tampa; four brothers, W.G. Mercer, Jeffersonville, C.E. Mercer, Jeffersonville, C.P. Mercer, Gray and J.H. Mercer, Miami.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 4:30 p.m. today. The Rev. A.L. Phillips, pastor of Mikado Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Mercer, Harley Mercer, Ralph Mercer, Earlie Darmon, Hulsey Andrews and Charlie Hill.
