Retired from the Columbus Fire Department. Relocated to Arizona. His wife, Mary Louise (Mary Lou) is also buried in Garland Brook. Tom passed away before first. When Tom passed away and was brought back to Columbus, the Fire Department did him the honor of touring his casket through key points in Columbus before taking him to Garland Brook. He would have loved it.

Tom did construction work on his days off from the fire department. He and Mary Lou lived in the tiny house across the street from us. They saw the advantages of "living small" long before they became so popular in the mid- 2000's.

He was 85 and resided in Casa Grande, AZ since 1970 where he died 31 Jan. 1995. He was buried in the Garden of Gethsemane, Garland Brook Cemetery.

AND according to Familysearch.org, he was born 5 July 1909, Fulton, Mississippi.
