Harriet Annibell (Herberg) Bangen, 82, a nursing aide, of Great Falls, passed away of natural causes on November 29th at a local hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be Thursday (today) at Croxford Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Cremation will take place at a later date under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory.

Harriet was born September 20, 1929 to Harry and Annie Herberg in Crookston, MN. She was raised and graduated high school in Crookston. She married Harold Bangen on March 4, 1950 in Crookston. They moved to Great Falls in 1959. She has worked on the family farm, was a housewife, and was a nursing aide here in Great Falls. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, sewing, and collecting Disney movies and spoons from other states.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Harold; sisters Doris and LaVonne both of MN; brothers Lloyd and Lindey both of MN; daughters Susan of Billings, Diana of Vaughn, Debbie of Denver, CO, and Janelle of Sun River; sons Bruce of Great Falls and Michael of Elko, NV; grandchildren Paul, Jason, Jarod, Tavia, Amanda, Calvin, Sean, Melissa, Joshua, John, Jennifer, Amanda, Michelle, Nicole, Travis, and Tyler; and 23 great-grandchildren.
