James Paul Sidney Brannon, 83, of Woodstock, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Fairfax, VA.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church. Father Dobbins will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.

Mr. Brannon was born March 22, 1931 in Laurel, Mississippi. He was the son of the late Robert and Lochie Pearson Brannon.

He served in the United States Army. He was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church. He received an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Benjamin Franklin School for Accounting. He retired as an accountant from The Department of Defense.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Louise Feehan Brannon; a daughter, Maria Louise Brannon, and 12 siblings.

He is survived by two sons, James and Joseph Brannon; a daughter, Debora Cooke; a sister, Sara Zifonte; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 7:00-8:00 with a Rosary Service at 7:00 at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
