Graveside rites for Millie Jacobs were conducted Monday in the Muleshoe Cemetery, Muleshoe, Texas, with Rev. Dale Berry officiating.
Mrs. Jacobs was born May 7, 1913, at Sivells Bend, Texas, and died November 18, 1994, in Marietta. She married Claude Jacobs on May 3, 1936, at Thackerville, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John Henry Jacobs in 1984 and Charles Jacobs in 1989; and two daughters, Claudine in 1946 and Linda in 1951.
Mrs. Jacobs had been a resident of Marietta since 1990, moving here from Muleshoe. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, John Jacobs of Lubbock, Texas, Carl Lee Jacobs of Marietta, Lehmon Jacobs of Muleshoe and Billy Jacobs of Phoenix, Arizona; five daughters, Ola Jean Jenkins of Marietta, Shirley Collins and Mary Parker of Waco, Texas, Helen Lowater of Hub, Texas, and Retha Tigue of Muleshoe; three sisters, Letha Kittrell, Annie Hart and Mookie Coonrod, all of Marietta; 42 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
