His Children are: Williard Edison, Bertie Leone, Verbal Edna, Millard Addison, Lehman Lee, Jewell Bradford, Eva Mae Bell, James Noble, Mina Bell, Nelson Dale, and Lewis Elroy. His paternal grandparents are William L. Melton & Patsy Ann Hampton. His maternal grandparents are Peyton Smith Harvey & Mary Medlin. Siblings are listed in order of birth: Minerva J., Cordelia J., Ulysses Grant, Thomas Jefferson, Elijah (Alex) Alexander, Simeon (Sim) Leak, and Viola Melissa.
