Mr. Billie Knight “Bill” Adams, age 82 of West Viola, Ky passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:39 AM at his residence.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, he was retired from General Tire, and he was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was owner of Bill's Trailer Sales.
Mr. Adams is survived by his daughter- Melisa (Tim) Raney of Folsomdale, Ky; one son- Mark (Karen) Adams of Lexington, Ky; one sister- Jean Taylor of Mayfield, Ky; four grandchildren (Matthew Adams, Alexa Raney, Brittany Raney Elliott (Josh) and Justin (Ashley) Raney, and 3 great-grandchildren (Presley Elliott, Zeke Elliott and Coralynn Raney) also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife- Lucy Cooper Adams; two sisters- Edna Earl McNeil and Pat Pittman; parents- Mason & Lula Mae Johnson Adams.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Bro. Dan Tilly & Bro. Richard Dowdy officiating. Entombment with Military Rites will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleums. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
