Mark Adam Lighty, age 51 of Beaver Dam, WI passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.

Mark was born in Buffalo, NY on September 19, 1962 and spent most of his childhood in Bath, NY where he graduated from Haverling High School in 1980. After living a few years in Phoenix, AZ, Mark moved to Beaver Dam, where he worked as an auto mechanic and soon opened his own trusted and successful automotive repair business. He was united in marriage to Jody Keil on December 5, 2009. A lover of the outdoors, Mark took great delight in hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time four-wheeling at the family camp at Trails End in Fairchild, WI.

Along with his parents, Neal (Barbara A.) Lighty and Barbara K. Lighty, Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Jody; daughter, Angela (Aaron) Martin; step-son, Brock (Tara) George; sister, Kimberly (Tim) Carey; brother, Gregg (Margie) Lighty; grandchildren, Chanse, Julianne, Layla, Jude, Morgan, Mason and Maddox; mother and father-in-laws, Kaye Janisch, William Janisch and Ward Keil; sisters-in-law, Tena (Troy) Wild and Jenifer (Ron) Nehmer; brother-in-law, Todd (Mary) Keil and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-son, Tyler Mally George.

Mark is beloved by his family and friends and though we may not be able to see his face, he will never, ever leave our hearts. 'Til we meet again, Mark
