EDNA WESTGATE
Mrs. Hugh Westgate, 60, of Milwaukee, whose husband is a member of the pioneer Mishicot family, died at Milwaukee County General Hospital Friday morning. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot, the Rev. Marvin Occhler, pastor of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, officiating. Burial will be in Mishicot Public Cemetery. Mrs. Westgate, nee Edna Rodd, was born in 1901 at Rhinelander, a daughter of the late Hans and Mrs Tillie (Hansen) Rodd. She was married June 22, 1922, at Rhinelander to Hugh Westgate. Later the family moved to Green Bay and for the past 12 years resided at Milwaukee. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Loren C. Smith, of Green Bay, a son, The Rev. Judd Westgate of Greensburg, Pa., three sisters, three brothers and eight grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
