Sgt. Donald F. Bowen, 24, son of Mr. Roland Bowen and Mrs.Charles Davis, and husband of Ramona, killed in action with the 5th army in Italy Sept 20th. Donald entered service with the national guard October 15th 1940.

Attended West Alice Vocational School. Survived by three brothers, Pvt. Raymond Bowen, Roland Bowen and Jack Bowen, and four sisters, Mrs. Winifred Setzer, Mrs. Millicent Odya, Mrs. Jean Movroydis and Charlien Davis.

Memorial Services were held at Greenfield Avenue Presbyterian Church.
