Mary Kathryn (Kathy) Oliver passed away Jan. 15, 2015 after an extended illness in Missoula, MT. She was born on Dec. 11, 1953 in Lewisburg, TN to Mary Lina and Charles Oliver, Sr. Kathy attended schools in Lewisburg, TN; Huntsville, AL; Silver Springs, Maryland and graduated from Tahlequah High School in Tahlequah, OK. She attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Kathy moved to Tulsa and worked as a reservation representative for several car rental companies and the Double Tree Hotel where she was known as "The Voice of Double Tree". She also worked for Fluor Daniel (Williams Brothers). However, her most important job was being caregiver to her mother in her mother's later years. In 2007, for health reasons Kathy moved to Missoula, MT. to be near her brother Charlie. Kathy was known for her cheerful attitude, wicked sense of humor and sweet smile.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her brother Charlie Oliver (Charlotte), her niece Christen Forster and nephew Chas Oliver as well as great nieces and nephew.
Services will be held at Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK on Sat., Jan. 24, 2015. Because of Kathy's love for animals, especially her kitty Adora, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bitter Root Humane Assoc., P.O. Box 57, Hamilton, MT 59840.
