Betty Allen, 82 of 1424 Holston Drive, Bristol, TN passed away on Sunday January 18, 2015. She was born on September 28, 1932 to the late Warren Lewis Wills and Helen May Wills. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and shopping and she attended First United Methodist Church, Bristol, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Allen; a daughter Margie A. Shultz; a son Warren Lewis Wills, Jr.; and great grandson Jeremiah Thomas Miller.
Survivors include; three daughters Karen Sue James of Reynoldsburg,OH; Sandy Lynn Platz, of Bristol, TN; Donna Marie Bougher, Lakeland, FL; three sons; Michael Wayne Allen, Bristol, TN; Kenneth Darrell Allen, MN; Jack Allen, Lakeland, FL; three sisters; Sonya Kagarise, Manistigue, MI; Shirley Kagarise, Belleville, MI; Pat Voss, New Boston, MI; one brother; Harry Wills and wife Nancy, Mountain City, TN; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Harry Wills officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow from Phillippi Cemetery.
