OBITUARY: "Nancy Kathryn Barnett, 71, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, at Broken Arrow Nursing Home in Broken Arrow.

She was born July 22, 1943, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Stinn) Bigelow. Nancy grew up in the Walnut, Carson and Avoca, Iowa, areas and graduated from Avoca High School with the class of 1961. The day after graduation she moved to Oklahoma and remained there.

Nancy was a big fan of country music and especially Elvis. She also enjoyed Chicago Cubs baseball and drag races. Nancy was the keeper of the family history as she enjoyed doing the genealogy. In her spare time she loved to crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bigelow and Helen (Stinn) Holtz; infant brothers, Larry and Bruce; and infant sister, Gloria.

Nancy is survived by her brothers, Robert Bigelow of Broken Arrow, OK and Darrell Bigelow and his wife, Sherri Rater of Collinsville, OK; nephew, Kevin (Angie) Rater of Owasso, OK; great-nephew, Carson McIntosh of Owasso, OK; aunt, Betty (Larry) Maness of Clearwater, KS; cousins, Mary Stinn of Council Bluffs, IA, and Beverly Harlan of Kansas City, MO; many other cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, at St. Patrick Cemetery in Walnut, Iowa.
