OLE A. LYKEN
(1863 - 1942)

Ole A. Lyken, 78, lifelong resident of the county, died Sunday night at the Lyken home in the village of Valders. He has been ill for three years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Berge funeral home in Valders and at 2 o'clock from the Valders West Lutheran church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lyken was born in the town of Liberty in 1863 and took up farming. In 1915 he, with his brother, Anton, moved into the village of Valders. He never married.

Survivors are a brother, Anton, of Valders; sister, Mrs. John Qually, of route 2, Valders; two nieces and two nephews in Canby, Minn.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Tuesday noon until the hour of the services.
