Mary Olivia Robie called herself, Olivia M. Robie. She was the first wife of Governor Frederick Robie (1822-1912) of Maine. They married November 28,1847 by Rev.Thomas N.Lord,in the Second Congregational Church of Biddeford, Maine. A resident of Gorham,Maine that witnessed the departure of the bridal party upon their wedding tour,said that Mrs.Robie was among the most beautiful women in Biddeford,Maine. At the time of her marriage her husband was a medical doctor practicing in Maine.
In their life together Mrs.Olivia M. Robie supported her husband in everything he did. They were both the leaders of The Maine State Grange for several years.
Mary Olivia Priest is directly descended from Degory( Gregory )Priest of the Mayflower in the year 1620.
