Tom was the biological son of Meredith Keith Turnpaugh and Gladys. They divorced when he was very young. She later married Fred Ritchie and he adopted Tom and his older brother Donald.

Thomas M. Ritchie, 77, passed away on January 20, 2015 in Dallas, TX, in the presence of his family.

Tom was born on August 26, 1937, in Gary, IN, to Fred & Gladys Ritchie, who preceded him in death.

Tom is survived by children, grandchildren, great -grandchildren, and brothers and their wives. Loved also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom went to Sharpsville High School, graduating in 1955. Married Patricia Pasley Young in 1955 to 1973. Served in United Stated Marine Corps 1956-1958. Career moved his family to Dallas, TX in 1969.

Tom was a jokester and his passion was watching sports, movies and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Thank you to The Manor at Seagoville for the care you gave over the last 4 years!
