Anna M. Agee, 82, of Slater, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at her home.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Rev. Robert Sisney officiated. Bethany Weiker, organist, played "How Great Thou Art" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers were Louis Eddy, Sam Krog, Robert Thomas, Sam Jones, Wayne Moss and Frank Guthrie. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Cott, Fred McBurney and Homer Rhoades. Burial was in Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Born Nov. 14, 1922, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Anna Williams Agee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater, the American Legion Auxiliary and Slater Cemetery Board. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 37 years before retiring as a manager.

Survivors include one brother, Adam W. "Bill" Agee of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
