HERBERT CLAYTON HUFFINE age 86, went to his heavenly home Friday, January 23, 2015.
Preceded in death by parents, Jess and Bonnie Huffine; sisters, Margaret, Mary Faye and Betty Jean; brothers, Billy and Bobby.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 63 years, Evelyn R. Huffine; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Bledsoe; son, Neal Huffine (Dianne); 5 grandchildren, Carmen (Vince)Stevens, Aaron (Jessica) and Adam Bledsoe, Melissa (Robert) Gray and Adrienne(Justin) Mitchell; 7 great-grandchildren, Kaylie Huffine, Peyton and Bella Stevens, Emma and Erica Bledsoe, Derek Harrison and Abby and Ava Mitchell; 1 soon to be great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace; sisters, Kathleen and Janice; brothers, Charles and Glenn; devoted daughter-in-law of many years, Rhonda Hampshire; numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of special friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Was a longtime member at West Haven Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He was the first Camera Man at WBIR Channel 10. Retired engineer from Channel 2.
Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Gary Smith officiating.
East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy. for an 11:30 am interment.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and the Unity Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers
