Mr. Emmitt Boutwell, age 94 of Brundidge, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Troy Health and Rehab. Visitation for Mr. Boutwell will be Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:30 at Salem Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 2:30 at Salem Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge. Reverend Jim Powell, Reverend Bobby Bragg and Reverend Chad Manion will be officiating the services. Mr. Boutwell was a life time member of the Brundidge Lions Club, a Deacon of Salem Baptist Church and a World War II Veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Clark (Julie) Boutwell and Hal (Cindy) Boutwell; four grandchildren, Kayla (Blake) Garrett, Katie (Dee) Price, Seth Boutwell and Trent Boutwell; three great grandchildren, Raeny Price, Reid Price and Emma Garrett; and one sister, Willie Clyde Bragg.
Mr. Boutwell was preceded in death by his wife, Jamie Parks Boutwell and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clyde Boutwell.
