After retirement, as a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, she volunteered her time distributing food for the needy through the food pantry, and enjoyed participating in the 55+ group with Milton.
Audrey enjoyed traveling including a trip to Hawaii. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her family, including sons, Allan Zahrt of Wausau and Wayne (Linda) Zahrt of DePere, WI; three grandchildren, Jacquie (Mike) Sprang, Jami Zahrt, and Layna Zahrt; three step-grandchildren, Amber (Craig) Gumm, and Kara and Shana Chamberlain; great-grandchildren, Logan and Brycen Sprang, and Levi Gumm; and brother, Bud (Ruthann) Hafeman of Wausau.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; parents, Arnold and Hazel; and sister, Shirley Zahn.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church, 709 Sixth St., Wausau, with Rev. Ted Gulhaugen officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
