Dennis E. Dexheimmer, 68, of N9551 Cty Trk MC, Elkhart Lake, died unexpectedly of heart failure on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at the home.
He was born June 21, 1943 in Sheboygan, son of Imogen (Nimnmer) Dexheimmer and the late Henry Dexheimmer.
Dennis was a Kiel High School graduate and attended Farm Short Course at UW Madison.
He was a proud member of the US Army Reserves.
On Sept 19, 1964 he married Georgene Reichardt at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners.
Dennis was employed at Northeastern Wisconsin Advertising Association as an Independent Sales Rep and also was a self-employed farmer who produced and sold certified seed oats. In his early years he worked with his Grandpa in milk ranching.
He was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel, Kiel Fish & Game and many bowling leagues, especially at Anchor Lanes.
Dennis was at home with nature, enjoying hunting, trapshooting, golfing and watching sports. He also belonged to a Polder Club with his high school buddies.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Georgene, three children, Laura, (Paul) Mannenbach, Elkhart Lake, Andre (Lisa) Dexheimmer, Kiel, Sarah (Tim) Wasmer, Newton and eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Halllie, Emma, Eddie, Owen, Lydia, Ella, and, Abigail. He is further survived by his mother, Imogene Dexheimmer, a resident of Harbor House, Sheboygan, three sister, Diana (Hubert) Nett, Cedar Grove, Sharon (Robert) Laack, Howards Grove, Sharleen (Donald) Mueller, Howards Grove, numerous family members and friends.
Funeral services for Dennis will be held Feb 3, 2012 at St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel with the Rev. J. Duerwaechter officiating.
Burial will take place in the Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
