Dennis L. Morency, age 69, a resident of Centennial Inn, Oshkosh, died Sunday morning, January 11, 2015 at the Centennial Inn.He was born on February 10, 1945 in Two Rivers, son of the late Lowell V. and Violet Morency. Dennis was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, Class of 1963. He was employed with the Manitowoc Transit Company driving city bus for 9 years and then moved to Green Bay and was a bus driver there for 19 years. He took great pride in working for the transit companies. Dennis was president of the city union. Many who worked with him or were friends with him nicknamed him "Mr. Nice Guy".Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Dawn Morency and their children: Skye, Dalton, Brayden and Jayden Morency, Two Rivers; a daughter: Tina Morency, Houston, TX; and a brother: David Morency, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a sister: DarleneCremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Burial of his cremated remains will occur at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
